Mean Pearson correlation coefficients for the three presentation pairs (1–2, 1–3, 2–3) as a measure for consistent ratings. The dashed horizontal line indicates the chosen lower threshold for . Subjects with a below this threshold were excluded from the evaluations. To calculate the correlations coefficients, 32 combinations (4 loudspeaker positions × 8 BRIR sets) for Experiment 1 and 18 combinations (3 loudspeaker positions × 6 BRIR sets) for Experiment 2 were considered for each of the three presentation pairs.
