Comparison of two sets of transfer functions (TFs) based along the aircraft trajectory (x-component) regarding the psychoacoustic parameters loudness and sharpness. The first set of TFs is based on the sound paths from the virtual source method (VSM). The TFs of the second set are based on an adjusted propagation delay for each sound path according to Figure 11c. (a) Loudness; (b) Specific loudness (VSM); (c) Sharpness; (d) Specific loudness (adjusted path delays).
