The relationship between average position uncertainty of the sound source and average HWD-induced error from the subjective test. The position uncertainty was computed as the standard deviation of the azimuth responses from the listening test data. The HWD-induced angular error was computed as the absolute difference between perceived direction using a HWD and perceived direction in the open ears condition.
