Operation procedure of the gas resonator. The gas-cavity is is initially filled with air at absolute pressure p₀ by using a gas inlet valve on top of the resonator without any static pressure from fluid circuit, hence gas-cavity has initial volume V₀. Once the pressure in the water circuit is increased up to the final pressure p_f the volume of the gas-cavity reduces from V₀ to V_f.
