Correlation between average numerical scale rating and the average winning rate WR for each stimulus determined from the results of the pairwise comparison task. The Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient between these data was r s = 0.97 (p < 0.001). The list of stimuli including the definition of the stimuli numbers “1”–“26” are summarised in Table 1.
